I want 10th prestige but I don't want to play that much so I was wandering if I bought the 10th character for 500 squad points if it would give me the 10th prestige symbol? I will rep who ever answers me

No that will not get you to 10th prestige.
Just play legit.

If you don't feel like playing it legit and doing all the hard work then just mod or get modded to 10th prestige. But just remember there is always a risk of getting banned when you modify something on xbox live!
