I have the newest version of the 360 and everytime i open the disc tray it closes without me pressing the button, it even opens on its self halfway through games n that not sure how to fix it does anyone have any tips ?

When opening it? hold it and wiggle it up and down. That'll probably set it back in place.

If you ever dropped your xbox or something hard fell on it you might of knocked it out of place a little bit

This actually happened to my mate last year. He tried watching all of these youtube videos and nothing seemed to help. He ended up sending the xbox in to Microsoft and they fixed it for him bro.
Your best bet is to send it in, are you under warranty ?

I have a friend who uses a knife to cut open the disc tray haha - probably not what you after. Sorry.

If you still have warranty, send it back.

If you don't, take the Xbox apart if you know how (There are tutorials on YouTube if you don't know how) and clean the disc tray, sometimes they get dirty and dust and what not causes them to lock up and not work properly.

I suggest sending it away and getting it fixed or just mess around with the tray and try fix it
