So I bought me a aftermarket cold air intake, so now the air filter is at the bottom of the car behind the bumper. We'll, At 1st never really though about it.. But today I was driving and it was raining, ran threw puddle and car sucked up water. It does crank over so the motors still good just need to redo the sparks and wires, but I lost the stock intake.. Where can I get another? (Other than a Mitsubishi Dealer please)

Could you not get another and get a wet box/cover for it?

Definitely stay away from any "cold" air intakes that position your filter near the bottom of your car. You will never see a gain in power because the piping is long and air takes a longer trip with more turns ( turbulence) . Plus as you experienced it's a vacuum for rain puddles.

Any short ram intake will be fine. Don't waste a lot of money looking for the most power. With smaller engine cars at MOST you would see an increase of 1-4 hp , and that's after tuning on a dyno.

Not looking for anything crazy intake wise, I was looking at a few WAI's (Short Ram) and really liked it, though a little bit of money to drop on a intake. I was looking at the Hydro Shield but haven't really seen any impressive feedback, might just pull the cold air intake off and slap a warm intake on, thanks!

If you want to keep your current setup I would recommended getting an air intake water bypass .

Example from AEM:
