Okay so I downloaded this program called Spyhunter 4, which should be the best anti-malware program.
It found 414 threaths on my computer, but you have to pay for it.
Do any of you guys have experience with this program?
And/or have you got good (maybe free) alternatives?

That's an anti-spyware program, not anti-malware or an anti-virus. It's made to be used in addition to other programs.
Most of the "threats" found by anti-spyware programs are tracking cookies, which are not a big issue.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is free and serves the same purpose.

I would honestly say that that program is verging on the classification "RogueWare". If it may not be, then it's certainly not a good AV to use. If you're wanting to spend money on an AV there are plenty of better options, and these days there are some great free AV's that do a great job! (My AV of choice is Avast!).
Looking at google, it looks like that it runs off it's own crappy engine; has terrible customer support; imposes threats on people and literally blocks most .exe files from running.
Don't buy that program. Get rid of it and use something else, like another popular AV.
Free AV's:
Avast!
AVG
Paid ones (if you want, it doesn't really matter, I've seen free AV's perform the same or sometimes better than the paid AV's.):
Kaspersky
Bitdefender
To remove threats from your PC there is:
Malwarebytes (mbam)
Kaspersky bootable disk (better at detecting rootkits ect.)
Hitmanpro (Runs off 5 AV engines).
As r00t said, if you want a program to just detect spyware then SASW should do the job quite well.

Chord wrote If you need an anti-malware program, I'd suggest Malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes is free and will take care of the threats detected by SpyHunter, free of charge.

Malwarebytes is excellent, but targets different things. There is overlap among lots of common tools like this as well.

I can't believe I put up with all these obnoxious programs before I switched to Linux.
