So I'm posting this in the car discussion mainly because I'm relating this to plasti dipping car parts and want you opinions.

I for one dont really care for the idea of plasti dip. I feel as if its a pretty dumb way of doing something and when it comes to cars, when you do it, you do it right. I would much rather save up for a powder coating job or get a new set of wheels.

Now don't get me wrong, it's a cheap efficient way to give your car a better look but I just find it sorta "ricer-ish". Especially plasti dipping brake pads and drums. That kills me.

What's your opinions?

The thing with plasti dipping is the ability to peel it off. If you don't do a good job or don't like it you don't have to purchase or sand down a new rim.

Pretty much just personal preference. I'd never do it. But like the guy above me said, its something that if you feel you want to get rid of, its easy to to get rid of cause all you have to do is peel it off. I feel if it's done right from someone who knows what they're doing and doesn't over-spray then it'll look good. Other than that who really cares if it's not your car we all have the same passion just different tastes.
