Personally I wouldnt say Tritton is not the best, id say turtle beaches could be, ive had 2 trittons, both tritton Kunai, both broke from wire coming loose. It is up to you though.

I mean i've had 4 sets of Turtle Beach x12's and the all broke the same way..

Turtle Beach PX4's are 149.95. They are wireless and are extremely comfortable. Mine have had no problems at all. Great sound quality too.

Turtle Beaches or Tritons are your best bet for that price range.
I have Astro a40s and if you can save your money I would get those. I love them.
