A corona V1 is a 16mb nand, so you'll need a way to read/write the nand. Most common tools for that are JR Programmer and NandX.

You'll also need a glitch chip. For a first timer I'd suggest a Proto V2 if you can get your hands on one. Otherwise if you HAVE to do it right now a CR3 Lite would work. If you can wait a bit a CR4 XL might be preferable.

If you weren't a first timer, or are very confident in your soldering skills then a "stone" chip is also a good option.


That's it, that's all the hardware you need. Generically from there you are going to:

1) Take copies of your onboard stock nand (using the JRP or Nandx)
2) Wire in your glitch chip
3) Write the xell ECC file to your nand
4) Boot the console with the glitch chip enabled - obtaining your CPU key
5) Now with the CPU key you can build a xebuild "hacked nand" and write it to the console
6) you are now RGH'd!
