do i need a kv to host mw2 mw3 etc.. (jtag xexon 1.1)

Dump your nand, extract your KV and check it with a KV checker (use youtube)

If you want to Host online, then yes. There are online servers you could purchase that allow you to go online.

Google "iKonroi v5" and there is a Server called Sawyer that is free until next dashboard update.
