Dota 2 is a highly renowned Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, known as a "MOBA" for short.
The video game is the stand-alone sequel to the first game named "Defense of the Ancients (DotA) developed my Valve, the game was released free to play last july and has only got more important.

Each match of Dota 2 is very independent but also Team related, as the game involves two teams, both containing 5 Heroes and each have hold of a stronghold at either end of the map located in their random stronghold (Dire/ Radiant) is their "Ancient" which either team needs to destroy after battling their towers, creeps and opponent heroes.

MOST OF ALL: DOTA 2 IS FREE!

Dota 2 is a famious strategy game which houses hundreds of tournaments with jackpot prizes of up to 3,000,000 although an event called the Compendium has recently passed which the prize pool was something like 6,000,000. This game is world renowned in the MOBO gaming scene!
