If i restore my pc to factory setting will i have to put in a different code for Microsft word or can i use the same one?

You should be able to buy a new one. If it is a multi-use code then you can, but some codes are one use only. If it doesn't work just buy a new code.

I did this for my friend yesterday when I installed his OS, you can re use the code most of the time.

You may be able to re use that code.

Just like with activating Windows, you can use the same code hundreds of times.

I suggest you just try it.

If not, you might have to buy a new one, sorry.

Yes, if it's an OEM key you can keep using it, but only on that machine. You can tell if it's OEM if you purchased it online (which it will say if it's retail or OEM), or if your PC is pre-built in which case the key will be either under your laptop, or on the side of the tower if it's a desktop.
