So i want a laptop simply to browse the internet, do documents on word and chat with other. My price range is from $300-$400.

Im simply looking for a laptop to get the job the done, however i wish to avoid lag and that pesky waiting time for apps to open.

PS: Custom desktops are out of the question so please dont recommend one.

You have quiet alot of options since you dont really need to do anything heavy on the laptop. If your not set on using windows but still want to get things done for a good price as well, i would get this chromebook (look up chrome OS to learn more about what the laptop is capable of): [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
Its small and lite and perfect for what you want to do, But if you want to use windows instead, get this instead: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

I know that the ultrabook is a little over your price, but it really is worth it. I have one and its simply fantastic.
