Hey TTG, wanted to give you a first look at these new "XBOX360 STONE" chips you may or may not having seen floating around.
I've got this installed on a Corona v3, which means that it's a 16mb nand and does NOT have standard post out, so I'm using the postfix adapter.
The below video is with NO tuning whatsoever. I haven't tried messing with the different POST_OUT lengths or possibly messing with replacing some wires with Kynar - but I'm pretty happy with the results. The best part is that the chip isn't using an oscillator for STBY_CLK so it'll be less prone to interference.
Be sure to click on settings and go to 1080p
Here's another video of it booting really well too (this is the same console). The first boot without the shell is the slowest at like 30 seconds. Second boot is instant and 3rd is like 20 seconds:

Here's the Xbox360 Stone completely untuned booting a Trinity!!!
This is a world first as far as I can tell as there are ZERO wiring diagrams of this out there and I had to figure out where C1 and C2 went through trial and error and educated guessing based on the Corona board.
C1 and C2 Location

"A" on the Stone is CPU_RST so I used FT4R2.
"B" is POST_OUT to the standard point
"D" & "E" are I2C signals just like in the Corona install
"F" is once again left empty.

I have. The Rev D is still oscillator based and the boot times with it are highly variable and required testing multiple timing files and lots of "tuning".
So far in my experience with the "STONE" as long as its wired correctly it just works and gives very acceptable boot times.

I have been using coolrunner rev d on coronas
Best way is just 2-3 timing file and have it on phat for coronas
Worst boot times it gives u is 30 sec
Just saying it's $8 per chip
But either way nice find

Stones are near the same cost, and like TheWeekendModder said, they do not have the oscillator. They have less interference and will boot stronger.
And instead of a REV D, You should be using a CR3 Lite to Tune Timings....

There's nothing wrong with Rev D's. I'm not knocking them. I've used them and they work - but perhaps your experience is a bit more limited or you've just been really lucky because out of the dozens (perhaps over 100) of Coronas I've done at this point there has been a good handful that have been impossible to get good reliable boot times with a RevD/CR3 Lite. In those cases up till now I've moved on to a CR3 Pro or a Proto. It seems the Stone offers another cheap alternative.
