I bought a RGH a while ago, knowing the DVD drive did not work. Recently I have wanted to fix it up, so I was told that the reason why the disc drive didn't work was because the mobo's DVD key was changed. Here's my problem. I don't have the original DVD key. The previous owner did not have it when I purchased the console. Is there any way I can recover the original DVD key? I really do not want to spend $20+ on a x360usb pro just to once use it to change my DVD drive key to match the new mobo one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

To the two people above me, he's asking for the original DVD key, not the current one.

@OP, you would need a copy of the NAND from before the DVD key change. Open that in J-Runner and it'll tell you your DVD Key
