I'm new to GTA and I don't know my way round maps::

The only time I do is on missions and I get them purple lines on my radar?

Is there a way so ican choose were I want to go and them purple lines come out?

Or just a good way of getting round the map?

Pause your game then scroll to maps click A or if on the ps3 x then scroll around till you find the location you want to go to and hit a or x if on ps3 and that sets a marker then go back in-game and you should now have a green line to follow hope this helped.
