A lot of people really hate gears and I think its a tad unfair because this is the main reason why people hate the game, when it really does deserve more players.
- People hate "Third" Person because they're used to CoD.
- They hate how its an unrealistic Game, Character/Weapon Wise.
BUT The main reason why people REALLY HATE THE GAME. Is because they get on it for 2 seconds, die about 5 times and never play again. Nobody gives Gears a chance anymore, Its kinda sad to know that the game I've played since 5 years ago is dying.
- People hate "Third" Person because they're used to CoD.
- They hate how its an unrealistic Game, Character/Weapon Wise.

I agree with your vest last statement. Everyone gets absolutely murdered on Gears because they try to play it like COD. I quit after a while; thinking Gears was garbage because I played it like COD. Eventually, when Gears 2 came out I started really playing it with my friends, got really good, and then got REALLY good on Gears 3. Now I love that series.

Gears actually takes skill to play and do well. If your new you're going to suck. Some people never will get good at the game as the mechanics are different from all other games. But those unique mechanics are what makes Gears, Gears. Been playing gears from the beginning.

It's because Gears has a big learning curve compared to other shooter where you just shoot and hope for the best. Most new player are mainly CoD player where they can take on a whole team by themselves. Where as in Gears you need team work and communication.

The reason I like Gears of War is because of the reasons you have listed... Some people are just different. The main reason I like Gears of War is because it's not realistic. Not much I can say for Gears of War: Judgement, though.
