Hey guys, iv'e only been doing youtube for a few weeks on a channel i made almost a year ago but is it really worth the effort? too many peoples getting popular now a days and the slow growth of my channel?

but on the other hand i could put in all effort to deliver enjoyable content, i'm really not sure! i have an elgato game capture HD...

I'm going to be honest with you, no it is not worth the effort. You'd have to get extremely lucky or wait a few years to build.

To find out for yourself, I would try and get 50 subscribers. If that grind for you is annoying and you arent seeing the kind of audience retention you want, throw in the towel.

Or keep going and follow your dreams. what do i know.

I know what you mean man!! This is my dream i would love to get big as a channel and inspire others to!
i'm currently on 136 subscribers and iv'e only been uploading for the past 4 weeks!

the best tips would be to ignore the hater messages, don't get upset is someone dislikes your video, look at the big youtubers they have over 100 dislikes but a huge amount of likes!!

and the main one which is frustrating is patience, you can't expect 1,000 subscribers in a day, you have to work for it!

finally it would be improvement; we all start with not the best videos but as time progresses we learn what attracts people to watch the video eg good intro's and outro's ect...

thanks for the comment bro!

Well said.... I think youtube is extremely worth it if you are dedicated enough to it. I am really trying my best to attract viewers. But at the end it'll all be worth it. 1000 subs to me would be a dream come true..
