I'm trying to download COD 4 and it goes for a little bit and then it stops, it only has default.xex and some different files, but stops at a certain point?

Does anyone know how to fix this? Help will be appreciated!

If it does this while using both XeX menu and FSD it will more than likely be the actual disk, is it scratched or dirty? have you tried installing another game to rule out the laser as the issue?

No, I have not tried another disc. However, I am only using XeX menu, not FSD. I couldn't get FSD to load up.

How come it wouldn't load? did you get any errors?

It must have just been the disc. MW3 is installing just fine on XeX menu 1.1

See if you can borrow a mates disk just to install it, if not you may have to download it from the internet.

i've had this problem before. sometimes i just let it go and it doesn't move but it actually installs which is very odd. otherwise update xex menu or what always worked for me is just reinstall it again which doesn't take that long.
