Is it true that people actually buy OG gamer tags for thousands of dollars?

i haven't seen people selling it for thousands i have seen $100-$300.
that would just be stupid if you buy a gamertag for a thousand -.-

Yes some do sell for that much. I've seen the GT (A) sell for like $2500 a couple years ago.

Depends on the gamertag, like Pittsburgh said God went for thousands. You probably wont find anything that would go for more than $100 now though most Super OG gamertags have been banned or are inactive.

The only thing i could think of is maybe a rich kid buying the GT: "T" or any 1 letter tag. But other than that its in the hundreds only not thousands

Yeah some have but it's quite rare. Normally it's from about 100-500 for a decent Gamertag

This is very true. People on other forums have sold/bought tags for thousands.
Most I've heard one go for is 5,000, which was a 1 letter.
