Z68 chipset is outdated, and at best 2TB is still massive overkill.

Jephyr-Jr, content creation is my niche. Here's all you'll ever need. Yes it is 20 GBP over, but that 20 GBP is the difference of a 1TB HDD or 2TB HDD, so the choice is yours.
Here's the 1TB if you want it instead to lower the price. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I would get an i5 quad core processor instead of an i7 quad core. The only difference between the two is the i7 has hyperthreading which really only gives 10% additional performance which I don't think is really worth it but if you have the money then go for it. I would take that money along with a smaller cheaper HD and put that money towards a good SSD. I have a 500 gb Samsung SSD and the windows 7 login menu can't even keep up with it's 10 second boot time. I also load into games from lobbies faster so on Battlefield you can get a pick from all the vehicles.

The i7 is recommended for his build as he will be doing more than gaming on it. It is for content creation, where hyper-threading is going to be used.
