If I were to start making YouTube videos, what would be the best device to capture the gameplay with? An Elgato? Roxio? HD PVR? Other?

Uhhh idk about black magic. BUT.... the elgato has a great thing going on with HDMI also no input lag from the device. I have a HDPVR and it works great but the elgato is where it is at.

I would say the Elgato is a lot better.

i got an hdpvr long time ago.
but i would prefer to take a Elgato Game Capture HD

Elgato is probably the best. I have an HDPVR2 Gaming Edition which is cheaper than the Elgato, has the same quality as the Elgato, but the Elgato has way less wires.

You can get a second hand Elgato for the price of the Hauppage HD PVR.
