I don't belive in afterlife. I belive and hope that the day I die, I just die. Nothing more, just dead.

Let me expand on your theory. I once read somewhere a theory along the lines of something that matches yours (yours would be reincarnation by the way). The theory went a little like this, lets say you are a 30 year old male, with 3 children and a wife. One day your driving to work but on your way you get into a car accident and die. You end up in a strange place, somewhere unexplainable. You yell "hello? Where am I?" Then you hear a strange but mystifying voice say "hello, welcome to your creation. I figure you want an explanation so let me elaborate. You see, you created this universe a long long time ago. You are existence itself. You became lonely one day so you divided yourself from one being, to a whole vast universe." You respond " I don't get it... So I'm you? I'm everyone in my family? I'm hitler" the greater power responds "you're me, you're your family, you're hitler, and you're also the 6 million Jews he killed" you retort "why though?! Why!!!?" The greater power responds "out of pure loneliness. Its funny because ive explained this a million times, and i will a million times more. I want myself to live the life of every being so I could see the world through every persons point of view. You must be going now. You will be living the life of a Mayan girl born 54 B.C. Goodbye." And your on your way...

Its not like this is a provable theory or anything though, as you would never know that you were reborn again.

I think it would be cool to have that, but who knows.

Kia wrote I used to see a possibility in reincarnation when you take into account population growth and attribute it to animal species and bacteria etc.
But even then, all of the bacteria on Earth at one point could have fit into a cup of water.
There has still been an immense increase in the number of 'souls' which are around on the planet today.
There are 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 bacteria on the planet today.
Where did that many souls come from?

That is one of life's greatest mystery.

I believe if we are here (somehow) in the first place i think there should be a possibility of life after death. Its weird how we are here in the first place so why not.
