Grand Theft Auto 5 publisher and distributor, Take-Two Interactive, has issued a comment about releasing GTA 5 for PC along with a potential release on PS4 and Xbox One. According to a report by Softpedia from Feb. 6, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto 5 has confirmed that it intends to release games on platforms that gamers own. If consumers are on the PS4, Xbox One, or the PC, then Take-Two will absolutely bring GTA 5 to those platforms.

Having been released in Sept. for Xbox 360 and PS3, GTA 5 has gone on to sell over 32.5 million copies worldwide and has quickly become one of the best-selling games in the video game industrys history. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has addressed many questions regarding GTA Online and GTA 5 this week, and he has now given comment on the likelihood and possibility of Grand Theft Auto 5 releasing on other devices mainly PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

While speaking with MCV, Zelnick disclosed that it is possible to see GTA 5 release on other platforms, including the PS4, Xbox One, and PC gaming platform. Grand Theft Auto 5 along with other Take-Two titles will be released on these platforms if that is where the consumer is, shared Zelnick. Find his full statement below:

If that is where consumers are, absolutely we'll release our game on that. But we wouldnt drive them there; we would just be there if they are there. That is why we have a companion app for our basketball title, NBA 2K Everywhere. It is wherever consumers want to be. We are not in the hardware business, we dont have any dog in that hut, we just want to be where the consumer is.
There have been countless rumors and speculation by retailers that Grand Theft Auto 5 will release for PC during the 2014 spring season. Likewise, many video game analysts expect GTA 5 to find its way to PS4, Xbox One, and PC during the 2014 calendar year. As of now, neither Rockstar nor Take-Two have made any official announcement of bringing GTA 5 to these platforms.

Grand Theft Auto 5 was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Sept. 2013.
