dvrr3ll wrote nothing wrong with marijuana at all. i smoke a lot (not bragging or anything) and it doesn't hurt me at all. if anything it helps me, with anxiety, appetite, falling asleep, focusing. marijuana opens your mind, while alcohol closes it. shrooms aren't too dangerous, as long as they're actual earth/hydroponic grown, but still not something that should be abused too much. opiates and other **** like that should just be illegal completely.

it might not seem likes its doing anything to you now but smoking anything hurts your lungs and can lead to throat or lung cancer. Marijuana has added effects such as killing brain cells that doesn't benefit you. as Shrooms might not be that dangerous it makes you hallucinate and that can be bad. for example: If you are on shrooms and you have the thought" I can Fly!" then you might go and jump out of a building because you believe you can fly.

Actually this is not true at all. There is no proof that marijuana kills brain cells, but in fact they do freeze brain cells. Not kill them. Alcohol kills brain cells. So does ecstasy, Molly, and pcp. But marijuana doesn't kill brain cells or technically cause cancer. It's impurities in them that does cause cancer. If u smoke vaporized weed you can not get cancer, as well as eat it in a cooked form.

actually their is proven facts that Marijuana does kill brain cells.

The highest density of cannabinoid receptors is found in parts of the brain that influence pleasure, memory, thinking, concentration, sensory and time perception, and coordinated movement. Marijuana overactivates the endocannabinoid system, causing the high and other effects that users experience. These effects include altered perceptions and mood, impaired coordination, difficulty with thinking and problem solving, and disrupted learning and memory.

Marijuana also affects brain development, and when it is used heavily by young people, its effects on thinking and memory may last a long time or even be permanent. A recent study of marijuana users who began using in adolescence revealed substantially reduced connectivity among brain areas responsible for learning and memory. And a large long-term study in New Zealand showed that people who began smoking marijuana heavily in their teens lost an average of 8 points in IQ between age 13 and age 38. Importantly, the lost cognitive abilities were not fully restored in those who quit smoking marijuana as adults. Those who started smoking marijuana in adulthood did not show significant IQ declines.

Edit: Do you see that? In one of the lines It says:
And a large long-term study in New Zealand showed that people who began smoking marijuana heavily in their teens lost an average of 8 points in IQ between age 13 and age 38. Importantly, the lost cognitive abilities were not fully restored in those who quit smoking marijuana as adults.

Meaning that brain cells do not grow back either!
Look at it for yourself.

Edit 2: Or atleast It slows down the development of the brain.

Yes it may affect brain development. But nowhere in there did I read anything about it "killing" brain cells. It may slow reactions but it does not actually kill the brain.

i agree smoke in general can hurt your lungs, i wouldn't go as far as marijuana smoke can give you lung cancer, unless you smoke a lot of blunts. but that's where the earth/hydroponic (natural grown, no fake stuff added) comes into play, if you eat shrooms and they're actual shrooms, you shouldn't be able to convince yourself that you can fly, no drug has ever made me feel the urge to try flying, if people can't take drugs without the risk of harming themselves they shouldn't take them anyways. really just depends on the person. if you try to fly out of a 20 story building window, then you're probably consuming some horrible, synthetic drugs

Alright it may not kill brain cells but It still slows down your brain development which is still bad. Meaning if you smoke it a lot as a teen you grow up to be not as smart as everyone else. That's just the brain part of it! It still can cause cancer.
Its not an 100% chance of cancer but if you smoke a lot of weed you have a higher chance at getting cancer later in life.

i agree, it can slow down the growth of brain cells, but in no way it kills them. i smoked before the final part of the test to get my high school diploma, 4 hour test, and i had great scores, the top dawg of the school was trying to convince me to take more tests to be eligible for college because i did so good. my brain cells might be different from other peoples', but they're definitely not dead

Well, you really can't blame him.

He's just speaking the truth and telling us what we already know.

Marijuana - 0
Alcohol - alcohol poisoning, drunk driving, drunk fights and so on. Equaling about 2.5 million deaths a year.

If you are going to include drunk driving, you can't say marijuana has zero. People have died in accidents while driving under the influence of it.

I would have to agree with Obama. You hear about more drinking and driving accidents then about smoking marijuana and driving.

You're right about Alcohol, but Marijuana is one of the biggest things within the drug cartels. I'm pretty sure people die all the time trying to get Marijuana from the big cartels.
