Using the newest gta v save editor the nos will not work. I also noticed that the nitrous box won't stay checked any suggestions?

Re-download it or restart your computer . Try that out

Any chance there's a gamesave out there with NOS equipped cars already for those of us who can't seem to use the gamesave editor?
