I just burned a nice Verbatim disc with everything needed for script mods. I used DeadlyFishes' common and used the Buffeting's Mod Manager. The game installed fine, and it appeared that everything worked. But now that I start up the game, it just takes me to a black screen and I need to restart my Xbox.

(I cleared my system cache, etc.)

Can anyone offer up any help? It'd be much appreciated.

I used to buy these discs, but it's not something I want to do anymore. I want to create my own. The disc works fine, so that's not the issue.
