This only works on a new account !!!
Step 1: Change locale to India (You cannot be signed in to any profile)
Step 2: Create Profile & Join Xbox Live.
Step 3: Enter your information for your new account setup.
Example : asdfgh @ kt.com
Step 4: Complete rest of account setup.
Step 5: Select upgrade later when asked about purchasing gold.
Then it should ask if you want to try month free ! Just hit continue and there you go!
* I haven't tried this since 2/13/14 but should still work ! *
