You cant really hack COC, there is one application that allows you to search for bases with 100k more gold/elixir & keeps you active without touching the screen but i don't remember the name sorry.

Yes you can change the code, but eventually the game says Game and server are out of sync and you have to reload the game and until you reset it, it keeps doing that.

Clash of Clans can't have "hacks", only glitches which are errors in their code. The jailbreak tool used to keep you active and search for certain amounts of res are bots, they don't actually change any code in the CoC folder or servers. All these bots do are get information passed from the server such as, you are about to be logged off due to inactivity, and the bot then "taps" the screen for you so you don't get disconnected. And similiar with the res amounts, it gets the number of res the player has then tests to see whether it is less than the amount you want then either stays on that player or keeps searching. The only "hack" that i can't explain is the sandbox attacks which were pretty cool looking. now that i think about it they may have worked by changing the information sent to the server when visiting someone which caused it to look like you were attacking them.
Anyway, there are no hacks for clash of clans. the only true hacks would be hacking the clash of clans server and changing account information. i would bet that all the battle code has been compiled and would be very hard to change IF you hacked their servers account information might be the only helpful thing to gain from hacking their server.
oh and that jailbreak app that keeps you active is free, but it costs money to get the mod/bot. it is possible to get it free if you do some reference thing with them. not sure exactly but when i tried i gave up cuz no one would use my code
