I tried the DNS server last night and ltry to get on gta and when I goes the the loading screen were it shows the pictures it freezes. I turned off the DNS server and it still is doing it. What ps going on? Please help

Make sure the DNS has re set. Sounds like it's still on the old one. Also it wouldn't hust to re start your modem and router.

Try deleting the updates and go back on.

I was having the same problem and im not running dns. Everytime I would go from online to story mode it would freeze or say I was missing dlc packs. Eventually it started working again

Maybe delete all the addon packs, beach bum, holiday gift, etc then clear system cache and delete the GTA update.
Then turn the console off and on then start up GTA go to story then start up an inv only session, should work if your DNS is back to automatic.
