I know you said you're tired of hearing it, but I just finished SAO. Don't know how to cope with reality now lol.

You must read the light novels. I will admit I felt the same as you since I watched the anime before I read the novels, but the anime doesn't even compare in my opinion. If you want links just let me know. There are 13 of them at the moment.

If I were to ask for some psychological thriller or slice of life recommendations, what would you suggest?

Mirai Nikki, Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Another, and Danganronpa for your psychological request. I'll see if I can remember some other ones, but I've personally seen each of the one's I've listed and have loved each of them.

If you're feeling adventurous there is also Corpse Party.

I don't really watch a lot of anime which is strictly slice of life, but I can recommend K-On to start you off.

Shroom already suggested good physoclogical/thrillers so I'll add onto slice of life. K-on! series, Kokoro Connect (just finished it, really good), Clannad of course,Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT,Chu-2... Just check out my Mal on the front page or on my profile.

Perfect choice if you haven't watched it , in my opinion best slice of life anime I've watched.

Another good slice of life anime that I enjoyed, which I advise you to watch would be Toradora!.

Having a CR membership was fun for a little while when I had Xbox Gold, was nice sitting down at night and streaming the newest stuff, but torrents will always be more efficient, especially when it comes to quality consistency (since when streaming if your bandwidth decreases you'll usually dip down a resolution for a little while)

@NHK, Yui pretty much said the main 2 slice-of-lifes I was going to say: Clannad/Clannad AS and Toradora. Also worth looking into is Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Kanon (2006), and I'd say Angel Beats, 5 Centimeters a second (movie),Eden of the East (I kinda count it as slice of life), and Kokoro Connect. As for psychological, there's Psycho Pass, Ghost in the Shell, and Neon Genesis Evangelion (mecha and psychological cluster)

I never paid for my Crunchyroll membership, started with one account with a 14 day trial, made a second, then got constant 30 day trials for free. Needless to say I watched everything on Crunchyroll (UK) within a month or so.
