I need to spread the word of an Un-Constitutional public school. Tidwell middle NISD TX Roanoke. During the holidy season, incredible bias was shown toward Christianity, and Christmas. Teachers played Christmas movies in class, Christmas music was blaired during every lunch. The primary conversation was Christmas throughout the season, Christmas decorations were displayed throughout the school. NO other holidays, or eligions were talked of, or even considered. Teachers after the holiday have gotten away with playing Christian rock during class, starting Christian Student Clubs, talk and advertisement of Christian Mega-Churches during class, and recently one teacher confronted a student openly, and publicly in a de-humanising manor during school hours, and on school grounds. Serious change needs to be brought to this school, share this with friends, family, and government officials, even newscast channels, and other forms of media such as youtube, this school, and many like it need serious change!

We'll me as an atheist, it doesn't bother me. I know what I believe in, if I walk into a classroom and it's decked out with Christmas decorations it doesn't matter to me, that's there beliefs. Teachers aren't allowed to discuss it and try to persuade you. I don't tbj k hanging declarations and playing crappy music is persuading you.

I'm with you on that, but I'm a Christian. You do whatever you believe in, and as long as you're not trying to shove any sort of religion or movement down someones throat, then I'm fine with you.

This applies to everyone, not just Atheists, Christians, Islamists or anyone else. I don't support or agree with any form of extremism.

What do you think is going to happen in Texas? I could easy see how it would be biased towards Christianity considering how strong it is down in the south.

This isn't un-constitutional. Although, there IS a separation of church and state, and advertisements of churches shouldn't really be there.

I feel like all religion conversations should be kept out of school. Everyone carries their feelings on their sholders.

While I agree with you that things should change (by what you described), I also think that nobody will be able to do anything, since exactly the public school system is not the best. It's full of corruption and people who aren't competent enough to do their job. I'm guessing that's the school you go to? Hopefully someone can actually help you out and solve that.

Why does everything have to about religion and race today.? Why cant the school just celebrate Christmas openly with out it being "too christian".? because there are a ton of kids/people in general that are NOT christian who openly and freely celebrate Christmas.

This post is just as bad as the atheist who tried suing the school because in the pledge of alliance it says " Under GOD"
