HOW TO GET ANY GTA 5 SINGLE PLAYER VEHICLE, INTO YOUR ONLINE GAME
THIS WORKS ON 1.09
NO COMPUTER NEEDED
JUST A BRAIN
Ok, so first off, make sure your spawn location is set to last location.
It's recommended to have an ethernet cable instead of a wireless connection, but it will still work either way.
STEPS
1. Go into an online game
2. MAKE SURE ALL YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLES ARE IN THE GARAGE
3. Grab a random car off the street
4. Drive it into Los Santos Customs
5. Leave GTA Online
6. Once in single-player - find a car you want online (must fit in LSC)
EG. Hearse
7. Get into the vehicle and drive a few meters
8. Get out of the car - don't move
9. Go to join an invite only session
10. Find a random car off the street
11. Drive it into LSC
*PAY ATTENTION*
[Read First]
12. Go into the Xbox/PSN Games Store
13. On the third camera zoom out, you need to unplug/disconnect your ethernet cable
so you disconnect from PSN/XBL.
- You don't need to pay that much attention now -
14. "Connection from Xbox Live/PSN Lost should show"
Press A/X and then return to single player.
15. Go and find your Vehicle eg. Hearse
(This may have moved around)
*PAY ATTENTION*
16. Drive it slightly into Los Santos Customs
[Bonnet slightly in]
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
[This is the Hearse so it may differ to the image]
17. Plug ethernet cable back into Xbox/PS and connect back to Xbox Live/PSN
18. Don't move the vehicle, and go into an invite only session
19. Go back to LSC and you should see the vehicle there!
20. You may need to get another car to open the garage door, and prize the car out.
THIS MAY NOT WORK EVERYTIME

I tried to get the tow truck and modified it to the fullest but when i got online i can't put it in my garage.... does that mean it doesn't work or i can't modify because i'm using a different character thats level 11.

Some vehicles can't go into the garage, like cop cars, and I guess a tow truck is one of them?
Try doing it again without modifying it?
I would suggest just trying it again with a different car, then if that works, it's the tow truck which is the problem.
