Lol, this one really made me laugh. Hard.

A 2011 platform with a 270X, that is pathetic. For $1300 I'd want something more than a 270X. It is very unbalanced and way overpriced for the performance it will give.

So no, this is far from great, it's not even good.

Okay could you recommend a pc gaming build with 1,100 to 1,300 budget in mind? My friend who is getting this wants to play survival style games such as DayZ, the nether, and Dying Light with highest settings as well as edit go pro videos.

If you don't think the Intel i5 is good enough, think try Intel i7 Haswell.

Dutes wrote it would be easier if you just posted them so we dont need to scroll thorugh the list
of components

the specs arent bad but you could go with an i5 then get lga 1150 board usually cheaper than an lga 2011 board and get a better gpu
also the 16gb ram isnt necessary unless your an editor 8gb is fine

Okay thanks but what about an SSD also is the Graphics card great for games like DayZ, the Nether, and Dying Light (Highest Graphics).

yes the gpu would work well enough
but for your budget look what i worked out for you

Thanks man! But i think it would be better if i went for an AMD Radeon GPU and is their any better SSD on the market with a good capacity and price?

Here I just modified Dutes(I think)'s build. I switched out a few things, and put in an R9 280X. Put in a 120GB SSD.
The 4670k will be just as good as an i7 in gaming (you'll notice little to no difference whatsoever). The R9 280X will run most all games at max settings. SSD for fast & reliable storage.

No problem, just to let you know that the GTX 770 is right next to the GTX Titan which is one of the best graphics cards on the market but it's $1000. With the build you should be able to play most current AAA games on max with no problems and have no problems with editing too.
