The NVIDIA GT 640 Is a nice card but would it run these games?

It's a good card in the same way poop is a nice meal.

The 640 isn't a nice card at all. It's in fact very bad.

Battlefield 4 = Low settings
DayZ = low/medium
Black Ops II = Low
GMod = Medium
GTA IV = No chance.

Well my dad was playing GTA IV on his pc and it ran fine :s

The GT640 Is epic if you like terrible gpu's.
Dont buy this save up and get a different one and your dad probably has a better GPU Than that.

That is the best bang for buck card in the price range its incredibly good for its price AMD Beats nvidia in that type of price range.

I've just built my own PC, Got the Nvidia GTX 660 2GB and I love it... For the price I'd definitely recommend it.

Personally if I was you I'd save up, You're getting a Graphics Card which will be lasting you a while, Its worth waiting that extra bit of time whilst you save up so you can get a better one.

Easier if you're building a rig to tell us your total budget and we'll put together a full list for you.

If you are upgrading use Speccy for all internal parts and your eyes to read make/model from power supply.

Well i just need to upgrade the Ram graphics card and the processer My total budget is 150
