I've seen a lot of people around this forum - and pretty much every other forum who hate AMD Overdrive(or at least the CPU side).
For those who don't know what it is: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I managed to get my FX-6300 to 4.3Ghz on a shitty motherboard(Biostar A960D+), which when I looked doesn't even have an option to manage CPU Clock Multiplier.
Any reasons on why it's bad/good? I'd like anyone's opinions on it.

It's bad because you're presumably using auto-voltage with a board with a weak VRM. You will more than likely encounter stability issues and possibly destroy your board and/or CPU. Auto voltage lets the motherboard increase voltage much higher than it needs to be and you should not use it for ANY overclocking.
