read above posts, i had scanned like ~1 hour before, and i have several times since, i have daily scans, i think it was because i was running game, in the middle of the game, while playing, and i jsut got booted. idk, but i am almost positive that the restriction is from the credit card being prepaid, as xbox doesnt accept them at first either, but they accept the one you resieve in the mail a few days later

I use a prepaid card for all my steam purchases, (easier to get then steam cards around me) And I have not had any problems at all. You sure you didn't over charge the card? that happened to me on xbox, I bought live but I accidentally bought 3 months instead of 1 and it over charged the prepaid card and I got suspended for like a month.

You had to of done something wrong.

what kind of prepaid cards do you use? i jsut bought a Greendot Visa card, added $70 to it, registered it when i got home, then bought two copies of DayZ
29.99 each, there is not added tax on it from steam either so i know i didnt over charge it
there was 10.02 left
my gf also wanted to play surgeon simulator, i have enough on the card left, so i bought it for her also, (9.99)
i checked the card balance to make sure of that myself

Live doesnt work with the card you get in the package for me, you have to wait for the one you recieve in the mail, which has your name and everything on it.

We crypt our stubs (Virus) and that makes it FUD (Full undetected) for a few weeks if the crypter is good and nothing will find malware in the virus.

If you know anything about computers... which I doubt check your REGEDIT and mess around with it for a few hours.

no, im not supid as you think, i know what iom talking about now, it was an error in the processing of the credit card, as i gave stated, Xbox live does not accept them either, i know how to check for viruses, i dont download shit i am leery about, only things i have downloaded on this computer are through trusted sites, such as steam, skype, itunes, gyazo, firefox etc... before you speak your own OPINION, make sure you arent making yourself sound so ignorant.

Ever hear of a Java Drive By (JDB) Infects your PC in the back-round, very easy to execute, just goes to show you know nothing about computer security, so don't try telling me I don't know what I'm talking about when I'm trying to help.

You're very ignorant, you could of so easily got a JDB you don't even know, if you used Chrome you could of got a backdoor from the 0 Day Vuln that lasted the entire December and part of January, I'm guessing you don't even know what 0day vuln is, google it.
