I got a prehistoric jtaggable xenon for 30 bucks with a really stubborn rrod
ive done some light heatgunning replaced artic silver tried 2 different xclamp methods and a few other things and every time i think im getting somewhere the xbox switches error codes on me its had 0020 0102 0110 and a few others anyone have any ideas or should i just resell since it was only 30 bucks.
EDIT: this is the only rrod ive had problems fixing ive done about 12 and usually xclamp or heatgun fixes it instantly
I usually heatgun for 3-4 mins on 500-600 and then slowly pull away from the board to lower the heat over time. anyone wanna tell me their heatgun methods so i can try another i know a few guys who use 1000f for a minute inbetween 2 sessions at 500f and have had sum success with that.
If i jtag it with rrod could i boot xell?

well when the mobo keeps switching errors on you, thats not good. i havent had like any success fixing those type of boards when they keep switching the error codes. your heat gunning and stuff sounds alright...it could be just a dead board...and im pretty sure it has to be bootable to put xell on it

i can write and dump nands to it so i could put it on there idk what i can do after that tho i really just wanna get the kv out idc about the box 30 dollars is worth the unshared kv techinically
