I reckon by the time many of us are in our 60's, technology will be so advanced that immortality will be freely available. However I think that it is a bad thing, death would be a greater option. Think, if everyone would eventually become immortal, how crowded would life be, instability and anarchy would eventually reign... Just my opinion though.

I think we die for a reason
I mean how could you be immortal? Physiologically your brain wouldn't handle it and you just want to kill yourself. If you watched the movie "in time" you'll know what I mean.

The fact of "us" ever dieing is kind of unthinkable you would need to come up with all the factors of us dieing and see that chance. Even though each and everyone of us right now will eventually die doesnt mean the whole population will. You cant really "think" when we are going to die but the probability of us dieing in this lifetime is a definite NO the world will not end unless something tragic happens. I am talking about natural occurrences and not "Human made" world endings ex: War, Global warming could be on that list but that wouldnt end the world it would simply make the Earth around us right now a harder experience but im sure that Global Warming as of now. If it started right now I highly doubt it would do anything to make all the population of the human kind die in this lifetime. I would understand a lot but not all. Put into logic that this is my OPINION please do not judge what I say because this is simply my opinion im not saying these are raw facts.

Yes we will die.
It probably won't be from natural causes such as an asteroid.
Sadly I think we will kill ourselves by either nuclear warfare or technology.

This may get weird to some people, for some weird reason i felt the need to type all that so read if you want, but this is truly what i believe in. I didn't include everything of course

This is MY opinion. Please respect what i believe in.

Now before i get to the question in the OP, i am going to explain my beliefs because you won't get what im talking about if i didn't put them in.

I am not a christian, i don't believe in god or any higher being for that matter. I believe that everything happens(ed) by chance and that we as individuals have complete control over what we can do(There are limits, not mind control xD). The earth was made by chance and everything else. I do not believe in heaven or hell.

The real question is: Do we ever die? I honestly don't know for sure. This is based of of my own beliefs, but what do you consider death? If you consider death to be when your physical body dies then of course we will die someday.

This is what i consider death, there isn't death. I see our bodies like vessels being used for us to live in and and the real us is the energy inside our brain(For simplicity ill use the word spirit), and that when our physical bodies die we become spirits and we transition to another world or something along those lines. So yes there is death, but depending on your beliefs it may be different.

Now that is all i believe in for sure, i could go on forever about the rest i believe in but you guys probably thing im weird or just have watched to many Si-Fi movies

Unfortunately, everyone dies. It's an inevitable part of life.
