I prefer Big Bang Theory, more of a comedy in my opinion.

I feel a better connection with the characters in HIMYM, but I find BBT to be funnier. I wouldn't rate one over the other, I'd say they stand on equal ground.

I watch both shows on a regular basis, but i prefer How I Met Your Mother more.
