It's just like clicking like on a youtube video, it's free. It takes less than 5 seconds (More if you're on my wifi ). Also, people work hard to post top notch content on this site during their free time. Do people think if you thank someone, it shows you are weak? Walk me through you're reason why you don't thank that often.

No, people just post saying "Thanks" they don't really use the Thanks feature we have implemented.
But there are a lot of people who do use it, you just have to make a topic someone likes and maybe they'll thank it.

A lot of people use it, you just have to go above and beyond with your post. Like this for example took me 3 hours to make: Forums/t=6054682/ultimate-bf4-ran...rt=10.html

I do thank quite a bit of topics myself. I find that often times, I forget to press the thank button on topics that deserve it.

It's pretty rare isn't it but I guess most thanks are shown of appreciation in some giveaways, really informing posts etc. In short earn them and they will gather attention and appreciate it:)

usually people "Thank" a usefull topic that actually help them so they can virtually say thanks
