So i am doing a RGH2 mod on a Zephyr with a cb 4569 and on dash 16203. Im using a Coolrunner Rev C with a JR Programmer. My soldering is exact and the only issue i am having is with programming and Xell/ECC. I read the nand 4 times so i have the original nand (they are all the same), i flashed the cool runner to "C" and then things got weird... according to a video tutorial i was following creating the ECC should go through a bunch of things and take a couple seconds to create, mine goes instantly but only says "ECC created". I don't know if thats whats suppose to happen but then after i write the ecc and try reading the nand again, it says its a trinity with a cb around 9000. Again i don't know if thats normal. Then when i disconnect the JR Programmer and switch the Coolrunner to "NOR", i try booting up Xell with the eject button but nothing happens. Even after waiting 15 minutes nothing appeared. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please let me know. I can post photos of the solder install and possibly the Log on JRunner.

RGH2'ing a Zephyr is almost nearly impossible to get a good boot time. The best I have gotten was a 2 hours boot time. If you want to use the console often I wouldn't use a Zephyr.

So if i want a RGH 2 an xbox, you suggest using another type of console?

Without a doubt in my mind. Zehpyr's only really work when Jtaged. Other then that I have problems with them. Try to get a Jasper Jtag/RGH or a Slim that is RGH/RGH2'd.
