I got astro a 40s and they are awesome they feel like a **** pellow and sound great. They dont work with chat but mircrosoft is making an adapter. If you are willing to spend 250 on a headset or around there then get this headset.

Im trying to decide between astros and trittons, but im not seeing any news of tritton doing any xbox related stuff, only PS4. Plus the fact you described them on you ears like a pillow makes me want to buy them more! Alsothe fact that they're making an adapter for the xbox one. Thanks for the info!

Which trittons? I have the 99$ ones and they suck, to be honest.

1. They're unconfortable
2. They don't last
3. Sound quality is not the best
4. Not reliable (sometimes you can't hear people/people can't hear you)

Anyways, I was planning on getting the Astros but just bought the xbox yesterday.. $536 + 50$ for ghosts.

As of now, the only Surround Sound gaming headset for the Xbox One that truly works is the Astro A40/A50. Bought the A50s and a warranty through Best Buy yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Until Microsoft supports Dolby 5.1, most headsets will not work. Also, until an adapter is made for the Xbox One, you must use the Kinect or the prepackaged mic for chat.

How much do the A50 cost? I'm thinking about buying them but don't know if over 200$ is worth it. I mean, I could buy a lot of things with $200 so, what do you think?

How's the comfort, sound quality, build quality and controls(Volume, game, etc)

If you were to buy these headphones, there are two different roads you can take:

One involves going on Amazon or Astro Gaming's EBay store to buy these headphones refurbished. The A40s go for $179.99 & the A50s go for $199.99 refurbished with a one year warranty.

The other road, which is much more expensive, is from Best Buy/Amazon. The new headphones are $224.99 & $249.99 respectively, but are new and can have extended warranties on them.

All & all, I'm happy with my purchase. Comfort's great, sound quality's there, but you really have to baby these things & make sure you don't throw them around like you would any other headset. If you can take care of em, go refurbished. If not, go new & with a warranty.

Hope that answered your question! Happy gaming!
