I believe the answer is just going to be 'no' but I'm just wondering.
By ISOs, I mean either a modded version of a game or a pirated game.
By 'without opening the Xbox 360', I mean without taking anything apart. No modding at all involved with the Xbox. Just a modded/pirated ISO disc.
This means no JTAGs, no flashing, no hotswapping or anything.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I just realised this is probably in the wrong section.
I even mentioned in this post 'no modding at all involved with the Xbox'...
Oh, the irony.

Back in the day, there used to be a way. You could glitch the xbox dashboard into thinking the game was still in there when it wasn't, and all you had to do was press X and Y at the same time, opening the "Game Options" screen where you can choose to either Play Now or Install the game, and also opening the disk tray simultaneously. You could then quickly replace the regular game with the ISO disk and close the dvd tray, then either Play Now or Install the modded ISO. But of course Microsoft got clever and fixed that. As far as I know, you have to take apart the xbox to hot swap now. Sorry :/

Oh, ok. Thanks for the answer.
I had been searching around for a way to do this for a while and saw this method. I noticed it was on the old dashboard but I still decided to test it.

...Basically, it didn't work...
lol

Nope unfortunately you're stuck with opening your xbox and hotswapping it or flashing your drive.
