I bought a trinity j-tag for myself for christmas but i've got it and after plugging it in and trying to use it nothing happens it will turn on but i am unable to connect controllers to it and it also will not show any picture on my tv will someone help me please

try using a hdmi cable instead of av or visa versa

Are you sure it's a JTAG? If it is an RGH it could just have a slow boot time.
Try hitting the controller sync button on the console. Does the ring of LEDs show?

same thing happend to my rgh, never fixed it though :/ if you find a fix let me know please

again it happened with mine and i had to get a new one
Hopefully thats not the case im going to try refreshing the J-TAG manually and see if that works

UPDATE: I HAVE FIXED THIS ISSUE
i dumped my nand manually and updated to the latest dash and it is now working flawlessly
