Do you have to have the Ethernet cable plugged to your computer when setting it up and then move it your xbox?

I followed every part of the instruction even the pop up when checking works but when I actually go onto gta online and I rob a store I just the regular amount of money and rp from getting away from the cops

follow that and just replace the ip's with these ones

These affects only stay with you in the server correct. Or dose everything carry over.

Now wrote When i navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\. The etc folder is empty.

You have to change your windows folder options, to view hidden files.

if you don't know how to do that,

google is your friend.

Working great for me. Just finished removing it and now I'm back online regular servers.

Ok. Now when I open the etc file I get a hosts file but not the one without the file extension.
