Hello, Why do so many people have more than one xbox live account?
Ive tried to have more than one account but I always end up deleting it and wasting the gold. As soon as I make the account I think why the do I have two account I could just be getting more kills on my main. What are your reasons to have more than one account?

Ah, I see. Kinda smart to use a different account to mod. The thing with me is that I never mod.

I used to have something around 5 accounts when I played halo 3 simply for different projects, for example one would be a booster, another would be a MLG 50 only with ___ amount of XP, another would be all social, another would be my main with 50 in everything I could get it in, then another would be just a mess around account.

I use one account that I actually try hard on for good stats, the others just to mess around on.

Personally, I used alternate accounts so I could play alone and not have to worry about anyone bugging me. Also, when you get to the highest rank in the game, for example Cal of Duty: 4, I really just made alternate accounts to achieve something still. It gets boring when you can't achieve anything, so why not have a fresh start?
I even use them so when friends come over or you have a guest and don't want them using your main account, let them use the alternate one.
