Ok I have a gaming PC and will be upgrading and giving old one to a family member.
I was just wondering what PSU you would need for this as I will be using the PSU for my new PC??
Specs:

Asus GTX 550 Ti graphics card

i5-2300 2.8GHz CPU

Asus P8P67 motherboard

1tb hardrive

No ram currently but they will buy it.

So what PSU do you guys recommend and if you need any more info please tell me.
Try to keep it cheap please.
Thanks

450w will power that with room to spare. Something like a Corsair CX430 or a XFX Pro 450w are cheap, quality options.

Like Buxtyy said, the XFX 450 Pro or Corsair CX430 will have room to spare.

Seasonic do a fanless 430W for quite a low price, so if you don't want the noise of a fan. Look out for that one.

I would go for a Corsair CX430M @ 37 or a Corsair RM550 @ 78.. Don't forget your PSU is the last line of defence from a power surge and/if it may malfunction you potentially could damage the components it powers!

If you choose to go fanless, just know that the PSU isn't fanless because it doesn't need one, it's fanless because it's up to the consumer to have adequate airflow moving through the PSU to keep it cool.
