I have been looking around everywhere for a tablet to get my mum for Christmas but I just don't know which to get her because I have never owned or used a tablet.

I have mainly been looking at these 4 The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 / Google Nexus 7 (1st Gen)/ Asus MeMO Pad HD and the Acer Iconia A1-810

Does anybody have or has owned one of these tablets and can you tell me if they are good or not because i don't want to be wasting my money on something that isn't all that good.

Nexus 7 all the way, I have the ten. I say Nexus because it's got the most "bang for the buck" out of all of them, it's guaranteed to be on the latest Android version as soon as it comes out, and it won't have all of the bloatware and crap other companies put on there. Nexus or nothing.

Well, it's made by Samsung and Google, right? So it would be Samsung, Google, Nexus, or nothing? Tehe. JK.

It's made by Asus. Great product, 18 months of guaranteed updates opposed to 0 months guaranteed by other manufacturers.

Yup, the Nexus 10 was done in collaboration with Samsung. That's the one I have, along with the Nexus 5. Now I've just got to get the Nexus 7. Spends money
