If you limit yourself no it won't. But if you play everyday and like 5 hours a day yes their can be health problems..

When I did a lot of gaming my reaction times went up by a lot, now I don't game as much they have gone down by quite a bit

It's silly how i've noticed that I notice alot of things after playing games that others don't notice. My eyesight and hearing seem to be a little better, or more precise to say.

When i wasnt as active outside of gaming, i was chubby and like eating all that junk food. So there gaming was sort of affecting me. That was 5 years ago though, now i am involved in football basketball baseball etc. So gaming now is a positive for me, it helps me get away from my problems and just let me be me.
