Anyone who follows the developer's twitter accounts will have seen that the latest message addressed a potential punishment for HABITUAL quiters and dashboarders.
Obviously, this brings up a lot of questions about what is Treyarch's definition of HABITUAL and what will the punishment be. Some might recall that during the first few months of WAW, Treyarch penalized console players if they had a record of disconnects or quitting matches when it came to the HOST selection process. This system was filled with quirks and ultimately was patched with a more normal host selection process.
If implemented the way it could be, this could spell the end of mass dashbaording. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, as a majority of my losses in MW2, WAW and COD:4 came from hosts quitting and/or dashbaording.
