Okay, so in the UK i have no idea about the US but it's more than likely.
I got Call Of Duty Ghosts for the PS3 from ASDA (Walmart) and when i opened it i had a code inside which when i get the PS4 i can upgrade for just 10 on the PS Store.
But my question is, do i have to do this store thing or can i just go into my local GAME shop and hand it in for the PS4 version also for 10?
If not, does anyone know how big the download is? Because all you're downloading is the graphics not the actual game.
The PS3 disc is still needed.

Here is a good idea. Sell the PS4 and buy and Xbox one. You will be getting more for your money

So the game code only works on the system. It allows for the ps3 disk version to be used on the ps4. No matter if you were to do the download from the ps store, or actually get the ps4 disk, it installs the game to the system. You can only have around 10-20 games installed at a time, but before any game you want to play, you must install it into your system. That being, just use the code on the system, it saves money for the exact same thing.

I don't know any of the answers,except the download size will be roughly 30\40 gigs.
Being that videos will 720 or 1080.

the answer is maybe its worth a try to see but its most likely you need to use it on the ps store
